The stunning Doriane Kundwa, 19, has been unveiled as Miss Rwanda 2015, beating off stiff competition from equally gorgeous 14 young ladies.
Vanessa Raissa Uwase emerged first runner up with Lynca Akacu following suit.
Kundwa, the nation’s favourite, was crowned amid excited crowds at the Kigali Serena Hotel on Saturday night.
The student from the Northern Province would later give an emotion speech, praising her fans for throwing their weight behind her in the race for the nation’s beauty queen.
“I am so grateful for your support. I am glad that I am your choice for this pageant. I will serve my nation with one heart. May God bless you,” said Kundwa amid applause from the audience.
She was also confirmed as Miss Popularity at the colouful function presided over by Kigali Fashion Week maestro John Munyeshuli, artiste Intore Masamba and ex Miss Kigali, Cynthia Akazuba.
Other contestants walked home with some form of recognition.
The beautiful Sabrina was crowned Miss Photogenic, Ihozo Darlène Miss Heritage while the title for Miss Congeniality was taken by Joannah Bagwire.
