President Uhuru Kenyatta's bodyguards were on Tuesday spotted along the busy Uhuru
Highway soliciting bribes from unsuspecting motorists.
According to renowned blogger,Robert Alai, the men from the elite Reece squad
unit in Ruiru were caught red handed extorting money from motorists who had minor
traffic offenses.
The presidential bodyguards who normally
guard the Kenyatta Avenue Roundabout, Uhuru Park and Nyerere Road Junction were
caught red handed receiving bribes from motorists
This is a very sensitive matter because
the President himself has promised zero tolerance on corruption and if he needs
serious people who are trustworthy and morally upright around him, then these
guys should be sent packing
