SHOCKING: THIS IS HOW NAKUMATT SUPERMARKET HAS BEEN SECRETLY STEALING FROM YOUR HARD EARNED CASH...EVIDENCE

This is what he posted:
This has happened a number of times in the past, and now I don’t buy that Nakumatt stores do this “accidentally”. I highly suspect deliberate deception at play here.

Here’s the play:
1. You get an item from the shelf, add its price to your cost calculator.
2. You get to the till, your total cost is higher than you have on your calculator.
3. You scrutinise the receipt, and ask the person at the till about.
4. They make a comment implying that you are petty to ask about such ‘small money’ (pesa ndogo), or someone runs back to the shelf and comes back claiming that the till price is the correct price.
I’m now questioning the integrity of Nakumatt’s operations. The fact that this has happened more than once bothers me. I wonder whether they take advantage of the fact that many people don’t check their receipts, and thus get away with such deception. Is it that this unethical (and possibly illegal) practice is quietly encouraged by silence internally?
I got fed up yesterday and went back to the shelf to document this.
I’m calling you out, Nakumatt, for the fact that this isn’t the first time this has happened to me – it has happened one time too many.

RELIEF AS A KEY TERROR SUSPECT IS ARRESTED IN KAYOLE WHILE PLANNING A DEADLY ATTACK! KUDOS ANTI-TERROR POLICE!

A key Al-Shabaab operative has been arrested in Kayole while scouring one of the popular malls in Nairobi’s Kayole estate for a possible attack.

According to sources privy to the operation, Dadacha Yusuf Abdullahi was arrested while sitting inside the Nakumatt Shujaa Mall as he surveyed the building for a possible attack. Dadacha did not know that key security officers followed him from Mandera to Nairobi where he arrived late last week.

Sleuths have been on his tail without his knowledge. He was picked from the crowded mall by the anti-terrorism police officers who have been conducting the investigations.

His arrest brought relief in the security circles as he was believed to be planning an attack at one of the key malls in Eastlands. Security officers breathed a sigh of relief after his arrest and openly celebrated.

Dadacha is believed to be one of the Manyani trained Kenyans who joined the Al-Shabaab after failing to join the Somalia government security as earlier intended. According to investigators, Dadacha was born in Moyale where he also went to school.

TROUBLE FOR MAINA KAGENI AS NO-NONSENSE WANGUSI COMES AFTER HIM

kageni-wangusiMaina Kageni’s run as the most listened to English Radio presenter in the morning is facing mortal danger.
No-nonsense Communication Authority Director General Francis Wangusi is seeking to regulate media content, with a great emphasis on adult content.
CA has proposed regulations that give it powers to revoke the licences of radio and television stations that air adult-rated content between 5am and 10pm.
Wangusi says that the purpose of the regulation is to protect children. “Save for educational programmes, which may require graphic details, no broadcasting station shall air programmes including interactive call-ins or discussion sessions whose content is suitable for adult-only audiences during the watershed period,” the proposed programming code says.
Clearly targeting Maina Kageni and Daniel Ndambuki for their morning discussions on Classic 105, Wangusi said that Radio stations will not be allowed to air sex talks within those hours.
“Some of the FM stations are notorious for this to the extent of breaking all the rules in the book,” he said.
This is not the first time someone is threatening Maina’s career, and it remains to be seen whether Wangusi will have his way. He had his way with the digital migration, so this should be interesting.

THE UNITED NATIONS PLOTTING AGAINST KENYA FOR CHASING AWAY REFUGEES, UHURUTO IN TROUBLE!

After the deadly Garissa attacks the government gave a 3 months notice to all somali refugees at the Daadab refugee camp.In response to that,The United Nations (UN) has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, against closing down Dadaab Refugee Camp and forcing refugees back to Somalia. In its first reaction after Ruto threatened to put all refugees in trucks and buses and send back to Somalia by force in three months if the UN will not repatriate them willingly, United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) warned that forcing Somali refugees back to their country would have extreme humanitarian and practical consequences both on Kenya and the refugees.

UNHCR Spokeswoman, Karin de Gruijl, told Uhuru/ Ruto to reconsider their decision to repatriate refugees by force because the move will be against the law and will have economic consequences on Kenya. “We are urging the Jubilee Government to give the matter further consideration,” said Gruijl. “The main issue is voluntariness of returns. If these people were forced to return, it could be in breach of international law and UNHCR would not facilitate such a move and it would have consequences,” she added citing the UN Refugees Convention of 1951.

Besides, the UN warned that repatriating the refugees will give Al Shabaab a ready-made army as they young refugees may just join them to teach Kenya a lesson. “Basically, Kenya would be handing over to Al Shabaab a ready-made army of say 200, 000 young men who will have nothing to do,” she said. The Jubilee Government decided to close down the Dadaab camp after it became apparent that it was being used as a recruitment and planning ground for Al Shabaab.

IT IS SHOCKING WHERE PROPHET OWUOR GETS HIS MASSIVE WEALTH, FIND OUT MORE...

Kenyans have always asked where Prophet Owuor derives his massive wealth from to finance his fuel guzzlers, flashy lifestyle and his crusades now that he does not ask for offering from any church member in all his branches countrywide.

Sources close to him indicate that the controversial prophet is funded by an American organization named, John Templeton Foundation, which is associated with the famous cult popularly known asilluminati. The foundation also funds top political leaders and businessmen across the world but the funding doesn’t come that easy – You have to be accompanied by its representatives who monitor all your activities always.

Credible sources also indicate that Owour is among the top members of John TempletonFoundation who have made the biggest impact in Africa over the past one year. As a result, he received a bonus of over 500,000 dollars for his efforts. This is part of the money he has been using to maintain his flashy lifestyle and fuel guzzlers seen in his “prayer rallies”

Surprisingly, he receives over 200,000 dollars from the foundation each month.
One of his former Personal Assistants recently revealed that all his miracles are stage-managed and meant to attract more donors. Last year, about ten young children disappeared mysteriously during a Sunday service in his church and they have never been found.

His former Personal Assistant also revealed that Owour doesn’t pray neither does he read the bible, proving that he is not a true man of God
As the Bible says, “God’s people perish for lack of wisdom.”
There you have it.

SHOCKING!! SOUTH AFRICA NATIONALS CHASING AWAY FOREIGNERS FROM OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES ESPECIALLY KENYAN & SOMALIA NATIONALS, READ MORE!

It began after the Zulu king, Goodwill Zwelithini, told his followers last month that foreigners in South Africa should pack up and leave. President Jacob Zuma’s eldest son, Edward, chimed in that foreigners were “taking over the country” in a “ticking time bomb.”
Then last week, violent attacks on immigrant shopkeepers in Durban townships exploded and have continued since. Dozens of immigrants in Johannesburg and other cities shuttered their shops Wednesday as anonymous cellphone text messages warned that Zulu people were coming to kill immigrants in neighborhoods with large migrant populations.
One message read: “Wednesday, Zulu people are coming to town starting from Market (Street) their mission is to kill every foreigner on the road please pass this to all your contacts in case they come people should be on alert.”

Another referred to an attack that “will be more destructive than ever before,” and warned immigrants to stay indoors. “Take (it) serious our friends r killed like Cockroaches.”
Violence spread in central Durban on Tuesday, after looters attacked shops owned by immigrants, some of whom armed themselves with machetes and knives. Five have died in the recent violence near Durban, along the country’s southeast coast.
Violence targeting immigrant shopkeepers, fueled by hate speech, envy and high unemployment, has dogged South Africa for years, although it is often dismissed by police and government officials as criminal but not specifically aimed at immigrants. In 2008, 62 people were killed in attacks on immigrants in townships around Johannesburg.

“The situation is very tense. There are many foreign nationals who are fearing for their lives. Some of them want to go back to their homes in other countries. I’ve met many people who are worried and don’t know what to do,” said Mkululi White, spokesman for the African Disapora Forum, which represents immigrants in South Africa.
The victims are often Somalis, Kenyans, Mozambicans, Ethiopians, Malawians, Pakistanis and Nigerians and other Africans. Estimates of the immigrant population in South Africa range from 2 million to 5 million, according to Human Rights Watch.
Some 2,400 people fled their homes in the Durban violence this past week and have been living in makeshift camps.
On Friday, in the worst attack in the latest unrest, two Ethiopian brothers in Umlazi township near Durban were locked in their small shop in a shipping container, which had been set alight by a mob. Tescma Marcus, 22, died that night at a hospital, while his brother, Alex, 24, remains in a serious condition.

Mobs looted shops Wednesday in the KwaZulu-Natal city of Pietermaritzburg, and the African Diaspora Forum reported a threat to firebomb a building in the town of Mthatha, in the Eastern Cape, that houses many foreign-owned shops.
In January, more than 120 foreign-owned shops were looted, often while police stood by. Six people were killed in the violence. There were similar mass attacks on immigrant businesses in May, June and September. But organizations representing immigrants in South Africa say that low-level attacks in small towns occur almost weekly.
Bereje Fana, spokesman for the Ethiopian Community Assn., said the organization had been pressing South African authorities to take attacks in immigrants more seriously and to protect them, their homes and businesses. He blamed Zwelithini, the Zulu king, for careless remarks that ignited the recent attacks.
The worst of the violence has been in and around Durban, which is the capital of Kwa-Zulu Natal state, where Zulus are the largest ethnic group.

“We have heard it’s going to continue,” Fana said. “We’re trying to highlight it and bring it to the attention of the authorities, to create awareness and protect their lives and protect their businesses.”
President Zuma last week condemned attacks on foreign nationals, adding that his government was taking steps against illegal immigrants, including curbing illegal migration, arresting foreigners involved in crime, and shutting down unlicensed shops.
“Citizens should also provide information to the police if they know of foreign nationals who are engaged in criminal activities. They should not be attacked,” Zuma said.
The leaders of informal associations representing South African owners of small cafes and shops have been blamed for stirring inflammatory sentiment in the past, accusing foreign shopkeepers of flooding the market with cheap, substandard goods and destroying South African jobs and businesses. Last month, a meeting in Soweto called on the government to stop treating foreigners with kid gloves.

It’s not clear what the business owners want the government to do, however.
White, of the African Diaspora Forum, called on police to arrest those responsible.
“We think the perpetrators of this violence are some businesspeople from our own country who don’t like to compete with businesses run by people from other countries,” he said. “Our research has also shown that unemployment plays a big role, because the majority of the people who are attacking foreign businesses are unemployed.”
------------
FOR THE RECORD
1:14 p.m.: An earlier version of this post attributed the quote above to Prince Thulani Zulu.
------------
White added that his organization was also concerned that comments by King Zwelithini and Edward Zuma played a role.
The king’s spokesman, Prince Thulani Zulu, last week denied that the king’s comments triggered the violence, and condemned those carrying it out.
“These are just thugs. The king has never said that people must be killed,” Zulu said in comments to South African news media.
Last month, White said, he was in Ngcobo, in the Eastern Cape, where several immigrant shopkeepers had fled a mob of about 180 people.
“These attacks are going on all the time. There are also cases where foreign nationals are accused of doing something they didn’t do, or officials demand bribes from them,” he said.
Sinovuyo Ndlela, the African Diaspora Forum provincial organizer in the Eastern Cape, said the leader of a community group opposed to immigrants threatened Wednesday to firebomb a building in the town of Mthatha, where around 20 shops owned by Somalis and Ethiopians were located.
“He told me that they’re going to do the same thing that is happening in Durban. They are saying that they stand for the community, they’re fighting for youth. What is happening here in South Africa is that most of them [the instigators] are jealous of these foreign-owned businesses, saying they’re selling things cheap,” she said.
She said two weeks ago, in the town of Cofimvaba, Eastern Cape, a mob of several dozen people evicted an Ethiopian shopkeeper.
“There were about 100 guys chasing an Ethiopian guy, saying he must go home to his own country,” she said. “There have been very many attacks in the past.”

MORE ABOUT THE LIFE OF ALSHABAAB ATTACKER ABDIRAHIM MOHAMED ABDULLAHI, KNOW HIM IN DEPTH

He looks normal.
Happy, even.
He looks nice in a suit.
He looks…like a typical Kenyan.
Like someone I could have gone to school with too.
Like someone who likes Avengers and laughs at socialites and takes matatus.
He doesn’t look like a killer.
But.
But.
But…
But what does a killer look like?
They told me
A killer looks scary. A killer looks dangerous. A killer looks like a killer.
I don’t know. But…
But…
But
I’m looking at his picture now.
He’s looking at something and smiling
I’m looking at the smile of a killer.
A killer looks just like me.
***
It was a bloody Thursday last week, and our social media sites were sprayed with pictures of people lying in blood, dead.  Al Shabaab had descended again, and this time, they went (as Generation Y likes to call it) HAM- hard as a motherfucker.  In their wake 147 slain bodies lay lifeless.
It was not until Friday that I remembered something. I had heard about Garissa University before the Thursday bloodbath, but there was something about this attack that gnawed at my spine. I could not sit still. And in as much as 147 people were dead, I was certain that was not what unsettled me. I began to think about death a lot, wondering when my time would come. If I, just like these guys, would meet my end at the nozzle of a rifle.
I pictured myself in this scenario. Would I beg him to let me live? Would I pretend to be Muslim? Would I fight? Yeah, I would probably fight that son of a bitch, I thought; if we die, we die together. We shall draw blood and see who between a goon and a terrorist has more  to spare.
Then it came to me. I was on my way to Lele Live! when I realized why I was being so pensive about Garissa University.
Late last year, Mother Karua had intimated to us that she wanted to transfer from her current job place. She works as an administrative assistant at one of the universities in the city.
“I want to move to Garissa University,” she had told me.
“Why?”
“They have better pay,”
All my other siblings became furious. I told her, “If more money will make you happy, then go ahead, but we are not moving with you to Garissa.”
She never went.
For close to six years we have been separated; us studying in Nairobi, and her working in Maseno. And now that we were finally around each other for barely a year, we knew she would not go anywhere past Nairobi.
Kumbe the reason I was worried was because I feared that if my mother had accepted the invitation to go work at Garissa University, she might have been among the 147 dead people. That fear shook me to the core. I called her immediately.
“Jaber, so now I see you have a death wish, aye?”
“Everyone has been calling me about it.”
“Listen, if you want to die, just call me. I would rather kill you myself.”
She laughed.
“Even if they called me to go today, I will still go. Me I am not scared.”
Of course she was just kidding. If there is someone who is scared shitless of death, it has to be my mom, never mind that funerals have become her new pastime (she is always attending a burial every weekend). She is worried because, even to date, she cannot fathom any of her children being alone, fending for themselves.
Because of that fear that had consumed me, the fear that my mother could have been one of the casualties of a jihadist attack, I celebrated the death of the terrorists. Until the photos of their bodies came out and as custom with Kenyans, they were gladly shared on Facebook.
“Serves them right,” I said.
Yassin Juma had said earlier that one of the terrorists was the son of Government chief as well as a lawyer. I never bothered to read that post. Didn’t bother with the details. In fact, I went ahead and posted a sick joke on my online spaces. The next time your kid says ‘when I grow up I want to be a lawyer’, please remember that one of the terrorists was a lawyer. A few salty comments later I deleted it.
What happened next was completely shocking.
Someone posted on a WhatsApp group “University of Nairobi, School of Law class of 2013 continues to shock Kenyans. First they gave us the socialite, Corazon Kwamboka, and now a terrorist.”
This photo followed. Turns out I know the reported terrorist. This chap right here in a fullsuit (white shirt).
adbirahim
His name was AbdiRahim, but in campus he was nicknamed Ababmo. I remember his face. We were not friends. We did not hang out or go raving together. But I know him. UoN School of Law is such a small campus that almost everyone knows everyone. Especially when you are Module I students, because that means that you sleep in the same halls of residence.
The survivors of the Garissa Attack who say that their assailants were not Somali, and that some of them spoke in fluent English and Swahili, must have been talking about Ababmo.
I remember Ababmo, albeit vaguely. I remember his curly hair. I remember his accent, thickly overlaid by Somali influence. I remember him hanging around his other muslim friends (Muslims in Parklands Campus always hang out together). I remember how his walalo perfume choked us in the corridors. But most especially, I remember his suits. This guy wore expensive suits. You could tell very easily that those suits were not the knock offs that Timothy Kyalo sold us. I mean designer suits, fetid with class and elegance. He wore them the way winners wear a moment of glory. He was dressed to kill.
In my head, he came from money.
Other than the aura of wealth (which is very common in campuses) this bloke was pretty much just like every other Muslim I know. He was no more or less than the next guy. Nothing eccentric about him.
I guess what I am trying to say is that he did not look like a killer or even worse, a terrorist.
But then again, what do killers look like? What do terrorists look like?
The face of a terrorist is very familiar, my friend. Something that UoN School of Law has come to learn from Facebook.
See, when you hear that a bunch of batshit religious extremists raided a place and slaughtered people, your heart bleeds – from sadness for the lives lost, and from anger for those who killed them. You wish them nothing but an equally brutal death; may someone skin their bodies alive, may their skinned bodies be roasted over a raging fire, may stray dogs lick their blood and choke on it, may their souls never even get the chance to stand naked before the Creator for judgment.
But when you realize that the killer was someone you knew, he suddenly becomes a person and all that anger is replaced with empathy. I guess that is why politicians terrorize us daily but we still let them live.
When Ababmo’s photo came to my phone screen, I wondered why/what would have made him radicalize. I remember last year I wrote a story for Kwani? at the Tafaria Workshop about a Somali campus student who was radicalized into terrorism. But you see, that is a fictional character; a figment of my imagination. I made him up. But Ababmo was real, and this coincidence is too fantastic to wrap my head around.
I mourn Ababmo today.
People have been asking me “What would make a lawyer become a terrorist?” I think that reasoning is misguided because Ababmo’s profession has nothing to do with it. If he was a chef, or an accountant, or even the president (George Bush), it would still be a tragedy.
You see the mothers of a victim crying, and her pain stabs you. But you do not think of the mother of the killer, perhaps because she was not pictured in the newspapers. But she too lost her son when that trigger was pulled. She too read about her son on Facebook and the Daily Nation.
Nobody carried a child in her womb for nine months, cared and loved him for years, only to be murdered; just the same way nobody sired a child to become a murderer.
Lakini who will cry with the second mother? Who look at Ababmo’s picture on Twitter and instead of passing a self righteous judgment, will ask him:
“Where did you get the gun from? Who taught you how to use it like that? Why the hate? Where did Al Shabaab take you? Did you also take part in Mpeketoni and Westgate? Why, oh why did you suffer through 8-4-4 if all you wanted to be was a terrorist? Eeeh, Abu? You do not need a degree for that, my friend. All you need for that is a gun in your hands, a point to prove and nothing at all to lose. I know, Abu, that Somalis have suffered under the dominion of Kenya – from the Wagalla Massacre to the Shifta Wars, to the extended occupation in Somalia, and to the Kasarani Concentration camp – but since when did violence ever solve anything? Who told you to go get yourself killed? What did he promise you? And if it is true what he said, that suicide will guarantee you breakfast with Allah and Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) himself, why couldn’t he do it himself? Or he who sent you does not prefer his girls holy and virgin?”
The answer is nobody. Nobody asked Ababmo this question. Not when he was alive, and not when he is now dead.
Even though I cannot bring myself to celebrate him, I grieve Ababmo today. No doubt it is because I feel some form of attachment that does not permit me to judge him any more than it is necessary. If I did not know him at all, probably I would not have cared.
Coincidentally, this attack happened during Easter Season, and on that Friday when the Son of Man was pinned to a plank of wood, the man on his right who was a sinner was redeemed. [Luke 23:32-43]
On Twitter, @Maskani254 is running a campaign on the people who died in Garissa. The hashtag is #147notjustanumber #TheyHaveNames . Basically, they are dignifying the dead by identifying them by their names, rather than a mere number.
Well, hata mimi I kinda know a guy who died in the Garissa Attack. He was a Kenyan Somali; a member of the Degodia Clan that was viciously attacked by the Kenyan military 31 years ago, and who have never received any justice since. He was 26 years old (I think) with a fine taste in suits. He graduated from University of Nairobi in 2013 with a Bachelors Degree in Law, scoring a coveted Second Class Honors, Upper Division. And his name was Abdirahim Mohamed Abdullahi.
But you can simply call him Ababmo.
