It’s possible that you've harboured the desire of being friends with benefits with someone. It might be with your classmate; you work mate or your neighbour. It’s clear though, that things don’t always go so smoothly in such ‘friendships’. It’s the classic case of having the cake and eating it. But if you want to do just that, here are important rules you should follow
1.Do Not get Feelings: This is the biggest rule but also the hardest one to follow. Figure out a way. The moment you get feelings, things will go downhill. The fruit will get rotten
2. Do not tell anyone else: Let it be a secret between you and the person you are shagging. Your BFFs and buddies shouldn't know about it. They will judge you and talk bad about you.
3. Have rules: Like how often should you communicate and when should you visit each other. This way, both parties know their responsibilities and no one will get clingy for attention or become too demanding of the other.
4. Be mature: You know what you are getting yourself into. Don’t bail out on your partner or start acting stupid. Be an adult.
5. Control your thirst: The fact that you are both benefiting from each other doesn't mean that the lungula should be done all the time. You might scare your ‘friend’ away and lose out on what could have been something special.
6. Don’t do it with a good friend: Special friends should be kept forever. The moment you decide to start sleeping with that special friend, there’s no turning back
7. Enjoy every moment to the fullest: Yes, savor each moment and shag like it’s your last. Remember, it won’t last forever.
8. Respect each other: Just because you are doing each other favours gives you no reason to embrace disrespect. Treat each with the kindness and compassion they deserve.
9. Don’t go on dates: it’s best if you just meet in your homes. The goal is to enjoy the joys of lovemaking not the joys of romance
10. Be honest: In case you start developing feelings, tell the person. Don’t keep your emotions to yourself because you will suffer like an inmate. If the other person feels the same way too, well and good. If they don’t move one
